The Coach Brocato Fund
Advancing Youth Tackle Football in Northbrook
On December 3, 2025, we lost a great one.
Coach Marcus Brocato was an integral part of our program for sixteen years and played a significant role in shaping not only the Jr Spartan program, but the lives of hundreds of Northbrook Youth Football players and families along the way. He coached with passion, commitment, and heart, and in recent years had the special opportunity to coach alongside his sons. His impact on our community will be felt for a very long time. He lived every day of his life with purpose, generosity, and a genuine love for this game and this community.
To honor his legacy, we have established the Coach Brocato Fund, dedicated to supporting and advancing youth tackle football in Northbrook. This fund reflects the values he brought to the field and the lessons he left with all of us.
Proceeds from the Coach Brocato Fund will help us:
- Provide scholarships and financial assistance so that every Northbrook family has access to youth tackle football.
- Ensure access to expert coaching for all Jr Spartan athletes.
- Invest in coaching development and player-safety initiatives.
- Improve facilities and equipment essential to a strong and safe tackle football program.
- Enhance the overall experience for every Jr Spartan athlete.
